Two Years!

It is hard to believe 2 years has gone by since we got married. They flew by! We bought a car and have bought a house. I guess the next step is baby. Maybe by our 3rd :)
Here are some reasons my husband rocks! 1) He is very supportive of me in every way. 2) He is a very hard worker. 3) He puts family first. 4) He is an awesome cook! 5) He is my best friend :) That is only a few reasons.
For our anniversary we went to the Mona Lisa in Manitu. I have always wanted to go there. The verdict? Not worth the money. I loved the food...but not worth the price. I didn't realize you had to cook your own meat...did not like that. I feel like they should have cooked it for the price we paid. It was a been there, done that, but so glad I had the chance to go!

In honor of our anniversary, here are some of my favorite wedding pictures!

We moved!

kind of...we still have to finish cleaning at the old house and move the garage junk over here...but we're sleeping over here now! The house is a mess and probably will be for awhile but we love it! I'll post pictures once it is more organized.

Baseball and T-Ball

For those of you not from Pueblo, one thing you should know about Pueblo people is that they are creepy close to family. Life revolves around the extended family too. It has been fun to watch my nephews grow up. One of my least favorite things is their sports they play.

I hate sports. Playing them....watching them...talking about them. I kind of like hockey...but thats about it. Both of my nephews are involved in baseball. They love it!

My older nephew is in little league. We go to as many games as we can. Every year the games last a little bit longer and there are more games. They last anywhere from an hour to 3 hours...2 or 3 times a week. The little one is in t-ball...his games are much better...only 45 minutes, once a week. His games are cute. Five year olds are super funny trying to play baseball. T-ball is adorable.

We enjoy going to the games to see how they improve...we love watching them have fun...we love it because they love it...but I will be so happy when the season is over. Not coming from a sporty family, I never realized how much time sports take. I'm kind of hoping our future children are unathletic...

Here are some cute pictures of my older nephew playing baseball. He really enjoys it and gets better each year.

One more week!

We close on Thursday and we get possession on Saturday at 5pm...so next Sunday is our moving day. Last night, while stalking our new home, we saw the current owners moving out. We are hoping they let us have the house on Thursday...so we can move on Saturday. We'll see!

We still have a lot of packing to do. We have accumulated a bunch of crap over the last few years. Instead of sorting through it right now, I am hoping to have a garage sale in a few months and see if I make any money out of it. Somehow I doubt it...I am kind of lazy so chances are the junk will end up at Goodwill without the garage sale ever happening.

Happy Father's Day! Mine is in New Mexico this week so we are spending the afternoon at my sister-in-law's fiance parents house at a BBQ. I've never met Bill's parents before so it should be interesting.
This picture really has nothing to do with anything...I just wanted a visual on here. I took this picture in New Mexico last year at the family reunion...I think it is the best, most "artsy" picture I have ever taken.

So I'm joing the trend...

Yes. I decided to start my own family blog. Since we are being grown ups and buying a house, I will start my own family blog. Whoopie!
Ben and I will be moving on June 28th into our first purchased home. We are pretty excited about that. I will post pictures later of our super adorable home.
In other news, despite loving my super awesome job as a substitue teacher, it is time I find a more steady higher paying job. So...the search begins. Wish me luck!
